29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: On or about August 28, 2014, the employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95 (c)-(o) when employee exposures were equal or exceeded an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels on the A scale: a) On August 28, 2014, a CNC operator was exposed to an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 92.09 dBA with a severity of 1.023. b) On August 28, 2014, a CNC operator was exposed to an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90.20 dBA with a severity of 1.002. c) On August 28, 2014, a CNC operator was exposed to an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 89.39 dBA with a severity of 1.051. Abatement documentation required per 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
