29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): The employer shall ensure that flexible cords are connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. Jobsite: Employees were making job made extension cords with romex cable and also using male adaptors with no rubber gasket to prevent water from entering exposing employees to shock hazards.
