29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):        The employer does not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. This violation occurred on or about April 15, 2014, when an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet while performing framing work on top of a two story house without fall protection.        Guadalupe Rosales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 962863, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 8, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 104 McGoey Circle, The Woodlands. TX, 77384.     Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all employees performing residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels are protected from falling.
