29 CFR 1926.1101(e)(1): All Class I, II, and III asbestos work was not conducted within regulated areas:  a) Eagle Iron, LLC at 5501 Brighton Blvd. in Commerce City, CO 80022: On or before April 3, 2014 the employer did not ensure Class I asbestos activities were conducted within a regulated area.  An employee removed the thermal system insulation around machine 320 without setting up a regulated area as designated by the standard.  This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards such as asbestosis.

29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(3)(ii)(B): The employer did not inform his employees and employers of employees who worked and/or were working in adjacent areas of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material and/or presumed asbestos containing material present in the area:   a) Eagle Iron, LLC at 5501 Brighton Blvd. in Commerce City, CO 80022: On or before April 3, 2014 the employer did not ensure their employees as well as the employees of other companies working in adjacent areas were informed of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material.  This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards such as asbestosis during the removal of thermal system insulation.

This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards such as asbestosis.
