29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met (Construction Reference 1926.59):  a)    On April 21, 2014, and times prior thereto, at the Southern Oak Lane jobsite, while doing masonry work at Building 1, the employer failed to develop and maintain a written hazard-communication program, exposing employees to various health hazards related to the hazardous chemicals with which they came in contact, including Coosa Light masonry cement.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): The employer did not have a material safety data sheet for each hazardous chemical in use (Construction reference 1926.59):   a)    On April 21, 2014, and times prior thereto, at the Southern Oak Lane jobsite, while doing masonry work at Building 1, the employer failed to maintain a safety data sheet for Coosa Light masonry cement, and have it accessible at the jobsite, exposing employees to various health hazards not limited to eye and skin irritation.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information (Construction reference 1926.59):   a)    On April 21, 2014, and times prior thereto, at the Southern Oak Lane jobsite, the employer failed to provide employees information and training on safety data sheets and labels pursuant to the Hazard-Communication 2012 updates effective 12-1-13, exposing employees to related health hazards.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
