29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed and implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): On or about May 9, 2014, at Mercer Tune, Inc. dba Precision Tune Auto Care: Employees performing oil changes and light automotive services using chemicals which include but are not limited to automotive oil, brake cleaner, windshield wiper fluid, transmission fluid, and engine coolant, were exposed to eye and skin irritation when the employer did not implement the Precision Tune Hazard communication program.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): On or about May 9, 2014, at the Mercer Tune, Inc. dba Precision Tune Auto Care shop: Employees performing oil change and light automotive services using chemicals which include but is not limited to automotive oil, windshield wiper fluid, transmission fluid, brake cleaner, and engine coolant were exposed to eye and skin irritation when the employer did not keep safety data sheets in the workplace to inform employees how to recognize and minimize chemical hazards.
