29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a. Site - Employees were not protected from free falling more than six feet nor protected from contacting the ground approximately 17 feet below while performing roof sheathing operations when personal fall arrest systems were connected to vertical life lines that contained an excessive amount of slack.
