29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  a) 3201 Ventnor Avenue, Longport, NJ 08403: On or about May 2, 2014, the employer did not ensure that each employee performing work on a  two story residence was protected from falling. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 6ft while working from the first floor deck. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 17ft while working from the second floor deck.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
