29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.       a)      Alshabrawy Meat Inc., South River, NJ  1st floor Production Areas:  The Employer did not ensure that the employees exposed to eye hazards from liquid chemicals use appropriate eye protection. Employees do not wear appropriate eye protection during the use of the Black Max Electric Power Washer, which uses a detergent (Skyline Professional Pink, Pot & Pan) and during pre-operation and operation cleaning using chemicals such as ammonia (ZEP FS Amine-B) and/or bleach (Austin A-1 Bleach Commercial Disinfectant Sanitizer).       Condition noted on/or about May 29, 2014.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching of flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:       a)      Alshabrawy Meat Inc., South River, NJ  1st floor Production Areas:  Eyewash facility was not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use where employees are exposed to corrosive materials such as ZEP FS Amine-B (#1824), which contains chemicals such as Octyl decyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, Dioctyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, etc. during cleaning of equipment and surfaces of the production areas.
