Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 2010 Manchester Road Job Site - On or about 6-13-14 - Employees were working on a steep roof system installing shingles with no fall protection systems being used. Ground to eave height was measured at 13 feet.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall: a) 2010 Manchester Road Job Site - On or about 6-13-14 - The employees were carrying the metal scaffold platform up the ladders to install it on the ladder jack brackets. Both employees slipped and fell off the ladders sustaining injuries.
