29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.  a) On or about 06/17/14 - 79242 U.S. Highway 278, Blountsville, AL, employees installing 26 gauge metal decking at approximately 21 feet above the ground were not protected from falls.  b) On or about 06/17/2014 - 79242 U.S. Highway 278, Blountsville, AL, employees tearing off existing metal decking at approximately 30 feet above the ground were not protected from falls.
