29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(1): Contaminated sharps shall be discarded immediately or as soon as feasible in containers that are:  29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(2)(i): Easily accessible to personnel and located as close as is feasible to the immediate area where sharps are used or can be reasonably anticipated to be found (e.g., laundries);  a. At the workplace, sharps containers were not available in all resident rooms for the disposal of contaminated sharps.   Sunrise of Worthington was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1030(d)(4)(ii)(A)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314587650, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 6525 N. High St. Worthington, OH.
