29 CFR 1960.55(a):  The Agency did not provide safety and health training for supervisory employees:  a. On or about 07/16/14, at Fort San Cristobal visitor parking area, at National Park Service-San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan, PR.  The agency did not provide occupational safety and health training for supervisory employees on occupational safety and health standards applicable to the assigned workplaces such as lead in construction (29 CFR 1926.62) awareness.  NOTE 1: The National Park Service-San Juan National Historic site was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313533580, citation number 3, item number 5, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/28/2012, with respect to a workplace located at #501 Norzagaray Street, Old San Juan, PR.  NOTE 2:  Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

On or about 07/16/14, at Fort San Cristobal visitor parking area, at National Park Service-San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan, PR. The agency did not provide training for collateral duty safety and health personnel on occupational safety and health standards applicable to the assigned responsibilities such as lead in construction (29 CFR 1926.62) awareness.   NOTE 1: The National Park Service-San Juan National Historic site was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313533580, citation number 3, item number 6, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/28/2012, with respect to a workplace located at #501 Norzagaray Street, Old San Juan, PR. 29 CFR 1960.59(b):  The Agency did not provide occupational safety and health training for employees of the agency who are representatives of employee groups, such as labor organizations which are recognized by the agency, shall include both introductory and specialized courses and materials that will enable such groups to function appropriately in ensuring safe and healthful working conditions and practices in the workplace and enable them to effectively assist in conducting workplace safety and health inspections:  a. On or about 07/16/14, at Fort San Cristobal visitor parking area, at National Park Service-San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan, PR. The agency did not provide specialized courses to employees of the agency who are representatives of employee groups (labor organizations) such as lead in construction (29 CFR 1926.62) awareness which would enable such groups to function appropriately in ensuring safe and healthful working conditions and practices in the workplace.
