29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure:     Guadalupe Ventura dba Ventura Roofing at the jobsite located at 337 S. 17th Street, Blair, NE:     The employer is failing to ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities were protected from falls while working at heights greater than 6 feet from lower levels. On or about July 22, 2014; employees of Ventura Roofing were observed performing residential roofing activities without conventional fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Guadalupe Ventura dba Ventura Roofing: The employer is failing to provide employees potentially exposed to falls greater than 6 feet with information to enable the employee to recognize fall hazards and how to minimize the hazards. On or about July 22, 2014 employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 12 feet while performing roofing work.
