29 CFR 1910.215(b)(5): The angular exposure of grinding wheel periphery and sides for safety guards used on surface grinding machine(s) employing the wheel periphery exceeded 150 degrees:  a) Grinding Area - On July 28, 2014, the angular exposure of the grinding wheel periphery and sides for the safety guard on the Brown & Sharpe 618 Micromaster surface grinding machine exceeded 150 degrees.  In accordance with 29CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
