29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).   This violation was observed on or about July 30, 2014, in the laundry and kitchen areas, the employer had not adequately identified effective personal protective equipment such as chemical resistant gloves for employee protection while cleaning steam tables and transferring containers of laundry sanitizer exposing employees to the hazards of corrosive chemicals.
