Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) Top Front Left Side of Roof - Workers were on the top level of the structure laying the plywood sub-floor, roof, not protected from falling 25 feet to the scrap materials and ground below, on or about 08/04/2014.  b) Left Side First Level Entrance - 12" wide ramp used to enter and exit the structure did not have guardrails, exposing workers to a 6 foot fall off the side of the ramp on or about 08/04/14.   Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
