29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a. On or about August 6, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing shingles while atop the 8/12 pitched roof were exposed to falls of approximately 10 feet due to the lack of a fall protection system.    Jim Brosseau Custom Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313937849, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 5, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 1580 Grinnel Road in Kankakee, IL.
