29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Because of the portable ladder's length, the ladder side rails did not extend to at least 3 feet (.9m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access and the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support, and a grasping device, such as a grab-rail, was not provided to assist the employees in mounting the ladder: Jobsite - The aluminum ladder did not extend 3 feet above the landing surface. The Warren Construction Group LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 112527296, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/13/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 85 Federal Street Brunswick, Me 04011.
