29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: (a) Junior & Senior Builders at 532 Cajetan St., Fort Collins, CO 80524: On and before 7/23/14, the employer did not ensure that employees eyes were protected while working with a pneumatic nail gun. Employee was not wearing safety glasses. Condition exposed employees to the hazard of projectiles to the eyes. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety nets systems, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: (a) Junior & Senior Builders at 532 Cajetan St., Fort Collins, CO 80524: On and before 7/23/14, the employer did not ensure that fall protection systems were utilized by employees engaged in framing activities while working on a 2 story residential new build. This condition exposed employee to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

(a) Junior & Senior Builders at 532 Cajetan St., Fort Collins, CO 80524: On and before 7/23/14, the employer did not provide and install guardrail systems while employees engaged in framing activities around unprotected hole. The guardrail was missing around the access to the basement. This condition exposed employee to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
