29 CFR 1910.110(b)(20)(iv)(a): All commercial appliances were not installed in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 54-1969, Standard for the Installation of Gas Appliances and Gas Piping, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6:     NFPA 54-1969 paragraph 2.14.1(b): The open end of piping systems being purged were discharged into areas where there were sources of ignition without precautions being taken to perform this operation in a safe manner.    200 Worcester Providence Turnpike, Sutton, MA    On 8/8/14, an employee purged a water heater propane line inside of a motel utility room that had active circuit breaker panels and an operating hot water heater, resulting in burn injuries to two employees.
