29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.      On or about August 12, 2014, on the north side of the building, employees working from the edges of the roof installing a wood wall were not provided fall protection and exposed to an unprotected fall hazard of approximately 21 feet to the ground below.    The Enrique Galvan was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314183641, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 30, 2011 with a final abatement date of August 4, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 12909 Midway Rd., Dallas, Texas 75244.
