29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section:  a)  At 446 West 56th Street in Kansas City, MO 64113 - Employees were digging at the base of an excavation face, measuring approximately 10-12 feet in depth, where no protective systems were in place to prevent cave-in hazards.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABTEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
