Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employer failed to provide emergency medical services to an employee suffering from severe burns:    (a) Location - 25 Blake Rd., Moultonborough, NH:  On or about July 25, 2014, the employer failed to call emergency medical services for an employee who   sustained serious burns to his arm while trying to light a propane gas torch. The employer allowed the burned   employee to work several hours following the incident.  During this significant period of time the burns to the   employee's arm became more severe.  The employee drove  himself to the hospital.

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employees were exposed to hazards including but not limited to burns while working with improper and defective propane equipment    (a) Location - 208 Union Ave., Laconia, NH:  On or about September 20, 2014, propane torches that had damaged and/or improperly repaired hoses were available for use.  Some of the hoses were cracked and other hoses were repaired with fittings that were not proper for propane service.
