1910.303(b)(6):  Deteriorating agents. Conductors or equipment were located where exposed to vapors or other agents that have a deteriorating effect on the conductors or equipment:    a) Truck Bay Wall Adjacent to the Automated Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) Dilution Process for Malgaldrate- Eectrical equipment such as, but not limited to, energized conductors, conduit, and circuit breaker enclosures were located in an area subject to the corrosive action of HCL vapor.  Continued vapor exposure causes deterioration of electrical equipment and could introduce an electrical hazard to employees if not corrected.      Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
