29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about 09/03/14 located at Lot 108, 4270 Hammond Bridge Dr., Suwanee, GA:  Employees were exposed to falls and struck- by hazard, while preforming framing work from the make shift scaffolds. The employer failed to install guard rails and it was not fully decked.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a)  NOTE TO CSHO: USE THIS OPTION WHEN THE EMPLOYER (1) FAILED TO SATISFY THE SECTION 501(B)(13) REQUIREMENTS, AND (2) FAILED TO PROVE INFEASIBILITY/GREATER HAZARD AND/OR FAILED  TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A SATISFACTORY FALL PROTECTION PLAN UNDER 1926.502(K). PLEASE DESCRIBE THE FALL PROTECTION PLAN DEFICIENCIES IN YOUR AVD.  On or about 09/03/14 located at Lot 108, 4270 Hammond Bridge Dr., Suwanee, GA:  The employer failed to provide personal fall protection for employees that were exposed to fall hazards of up to 35 feet and with a 8/12 pitch while framing an apartment complex.
