OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:    (a)  On or about 15 September 2014, and at times prior to that date, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while working around automotive lifts, including an ALM two post lift, Model # 15001, Serial # 203L-0150, in that employees were working underneath raised vehicles with the lateral restraint locks inoperative.      Abatement note:       Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to follow the requirements of ANSI/ALI 2011 which includes, among other requirements, the following:        1.  Institute a training program for the employees on the safe use of automotive lifts.       2.  Document and record the training for each employee.       3.  Inspections by a qualified person.
