Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards:      a) On or about 09/26/14 at 2517 Brunswick Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036 employees were traversing a parking lot which is owned and operated by E-Z Trans Corp. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards by vehicular traffic from the movement of semi-tractor trailer rigs while performing truck driving duties when the employees were not provided reflective vests. In addition, drivers are required walk around their assigned semi-tractor trailers and inspect them before leaving the lot. This inspection requires them to walk around the vehicle, check engine operating fluids, operating lights and the exterior of the vehicle before leaving the lot.
