OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a crushing hazard while using hydraulic car lifts.  (a) Shop - On or about October 07, 2014 employees use hydraulic in-ground car lifts and the safety load locks do not operate.  a.  Lift No. 6 in-ground double post hydraulic car lift.  b.  Lift No.'s 1, 2, 3 and 5 in-ground single post hydraulic car lifts.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement and maintain at the workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g) and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met:  (a) Shop - On or about October 07, 2014 the employer had not developed a written hazard communication program for employees who were exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to, Pyroil Non-Clorinated Brake Parts Cleaner (PY40035), Mighty Pre-Buff Cleaner (490F), and Marathon Rubber Prep Buffing Solution Cleaner (M100).
