29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):  Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      a) Jobsite, 828 Front Street, Creighton, Pennsylvania 15030:  Observed on or about October 14, 2014, each employee engaged in roofing activities on a two story building were not protected from falling to lower levels by the use of guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  The employees were removing shingles from the roof of the structure.  The slope of the roof ranged from approximately 6:12 (vertical to horizontal) to 10:12.  The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet to the ground below.

The employees were observed working on the roof of a two story building with unprotected sides and edges while not protected from falling.
