29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. (a) Roof - On or about October 14, 2014 employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working on a flat roof due to the safety monitor being involved in the work. The safety monitor looked away from the employees while he helped in the work.
