One employee abrasively blasted aircraft in PEG 220D9 within Building 220.  This process generated hexavalent chromium dust.  On 10/22/14 the employee was exposed to hexavalent chromium at a concentration greater than the 8 hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) Action Level (AL) of 0.025 mg/m3.  The employee was exposed to hexavalent chromium at a concentration of 0.005 mg/m3 as an 8 hour TWA.  This is 2.0 times the AL.  The employee performed this task more than 30 times per year.  The employee's medical examination did not include a medical and work history with regards to dermatitis, skin ulceration, or nasal septum perforation.
