29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about October 24, 2014, at 1420 Turnberry Ave, Suwanee, Georgia: An employee performing roofing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.2-feet and greater when he used a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder that was not extended three feet above the garage roof landing.
