At the jobsites located at 414 and 420 W. 1st St., Pratt, KS:  An employee engaged in residential roofing activities using a pneumatic nailer was exposed to struck-by hazards in that eye protection was not provided.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  At the jobsites located at 414 and 420 W. 1st St., Pratt, KS:  Employees using the Louisville portable metal extension ladder in order to access the roof at 420 W. 1st St. were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that the ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing and was not secured to the residence.
