29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:    a- 211 Central Avenue, Surf City NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when performing roof shingle and other related activities. Condition noted on or about 10/27/14.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a- 211 Central Avenue, Surf City NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when performing roof shingle and other related activities. These employees had not received any fall protection training from the company.  Condition noted on or about 10/27/14.
