29 CFR 1926.50(b): Provisions were not made prior to commencement of the project for prompt medical attention in case of serious injury:    (a)Duran Excavating, Inc. at Lefthand Canyon Drive Resurfacing and Repair Project, Boulder County, CO: On and prior to October 17th, 2014,  at the start of resurfacing and repairing project, an estimated 10 mile section of Lefthand Canyon Drive, the employer had not established and verified a suitable method for contacting emergency medical services where cellular and land line phone services were not available. This condition did not allow for prompt medical attention in the case of serious injury on the project.

29 CFR 1926.50(c): With the absence of reasonably access to an infirmary, clinic, hospital, or physician, the employer had not ensured a person who has a valid certificate in first-aid training was not available at the worksite to render first-aid:     (a)Duran Excavating, Inc. at Lefthand Canyon Drive Resurfacing and Repair Project, Boulder County, CO: On and prior to October 17th, 2014, the employer did not ensure appropriate personal trained in first aid were available throughout an estimated 10 mile section of Lefthand Canyon undergoing resurfacing and repair work.  This condition did not ensure employees had access to first-aid.
