29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.   On or about October 31, 2014, on the south side of the construction site, one employee installing framing material used a Dewalt air compressor with a power cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away exposing the internal wiring.  The employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1926.404(f)(6): The path to ground from circuits, equipment, or enclosures was not permanent and continuous.   On or about October 31, 2014, on the south side of the construction site, an employee installing framing material used a Dewalt air compressor with a power cord missing the ground pin exposing the employee to electrical hazards.
