Violation observed on or about 11/07/2014.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) 152 Rt. 46 East Rockaway, NJ  Employees were observed engaged in roofing activities on a roof surface in close proximity to an unprotected edge without any means of fall protection, thereby exposing employees to an approximate 12 ft fall hazard.  Violation observed on or about 11/07/2014.
