29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system.     a- 7-B Building, 7 Yearling Path Road, Colts Neck NJ: Employees was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 9 feet to the ground surface below, when performing activities including but not limited to the installation of roof insulation and metal roofing. Condition noted on or about 11/05/14.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a- 7-B Building, 7 Yearling Path Road, Colts Neck NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 9 feet to the ground surface below, when performing activities including but not limited to the installation of roof insulation and metal roofing.  These employees had not received any fall protection training from the company.  Condition noted on or about 11/05/14.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
