29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:     On or about 11/20/14 located at 1230 Apple Blossom Dr., Cumming, GA: Employees were siding a house with siding and trim and siding were observed being swung overhead of the employees on the ground below. Employees were dropping and kicking scrap siding to the ground. Employees were without hard hats exposing them to a struck by hazards.

On or about 11/20/14 located at 1230 Apple Blossom Dr., Cumming, GA:  Employees were observed installing siding with a pneumatic nail gun and cutting siding with a skill saw for the walls of a new house that was under construction without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:     On or about 11/20/14 located at 1230 Apple Blossom Dr., Cumming, GA:  Employees that were operating the skill saws used a piece of wood to wedge and hold the guard for the blade in the open position, while cutting siding.

On or about 11/20/14 located at 1230 Apple Blossom Dr., Cumming, GA: Employees installing siding onto the overhang of the roof while working at the edge, the employer did not ensure that fall protection was used by the employees while exposed to fall hazards of approximately up to 12.4 feet and the pitch was a 6/12.
