29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): At the time of the inspection, the employer had not trained and certified employees who were designated to operate forklifts. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): The employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures in any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer: (a) A written respiratory protection program was not provided where respiratory protection was required to protect the health of an employee. Employees were required to wear 1/2 mask organic vapor respirators while spraying powder coatings. Employees were required to wear an air supplied respirator while sand blasting.
