29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:  a)  Maintenance Shop - On or about December 15, 2015, acetylene and oxygen cylinders were being stored near the garage door without being secured to prevent injuries in the event of a cylinder tip-over.  b)  Maintenance Shop - On or about January 16, 2015, an unmarked gas cylinder was in storage without being fitted with a cap to protect its valve.  c)  Maintenance Shop - On or about January 16, 2015, oxygen cylinders are being stored in close proximity to acetylene cylinders without being separated by at least 20 feet or a fire-resistant partition.  Abatement Notes:  To prevent future violations of this type, compressed gas cylinders shall be handled and stored in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, Paragraphs 3.3.8, 3.4.4, and 3.5.3.
