29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) JK Tangles Hair Salon LLC:  The employer did not provide an eyewash for employees using corrosive solutions such as, but not limited to, Goldwell Topchic Professional Hair Coloring System.  These solutions can cause severe eye irritation if accidently splashed into an employee's eyes.  Condition observed on December 16, 2014.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):  The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), & (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes items (i) and (ii) of this subparagraph:     a) JK Tangles Hair Salon LLC- Employees were exposed to chemical hazards, as the employer did not have a written program consisting of provisions for labeling, safety data sheets and information for employees using chemicals such as, but not limited to Goldwell Topchic Professional Hair Coloring System and other professional hair care products.  Condition observed on December 16, 2014.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
