29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii): Flammable liquids were not stored in tanks or closed containers:  a) PAINT PREP ROOM: On or about December 19, 2014 an open plastic container of "lacquer thinner" was stored on the work bench. The open container allowed the flammable vapors to vent into the room.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for     Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations:  a)  SPRAY AREA: The area located outside of the spray booth but still within the spray room was not provided with illumination that is approved for a class 1 location. On or about December 19, 2014 several "open" faced fluorescent light fixtures were mounted on the ceiling and wall within 20 feet of the spray booth and without a separating partition.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.107(c)(7): Electric lamps outside of but within 20 feet of spraying area(s), and not separated therefrom by partition(s), were not totally enclosed to prevent the falling of hot particles, and were not protected from mechanical injury by suitable guards or location:  a)  SPRAY AREA: The area located outside of the spray booth but still within the spray room was not provided with illumination that is approved for a class 1 location. On or about December 19, 2014 several "open" faced fluorescent light fixtures were mounted on the ceiling and wall within 20 feet of the spray booth and without a separating partition.   these fixtures were immediately adjacent and above spraying operations.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a)  SHOP AREA - The employer did not ensure that the space in front of two adjacent electrical panels on the shop floor had ready and safe access to the panel, in that access to the panels was hindered by a shelving system and charging components, thereby exposing employees to possible injuries, on or about December 19, 2015.
