29 CFR 1910.266(f)(1)(ii): The employer did not assure that each machine, including any machine provided by an employee, was inspected before initial use during each work shift:  (a)    Helvetia Site:  The employer did not assure that a John Deere 640 D Skidder was inspected prior to initial use each day in that the machine did not have an operable seatbelt and had a seat with excessive damage as determined on December 18, 2014.  (b)    Helvetia Site:  The employer did not assure that a John Deere 550G Dozer was inspected prior to initial use each day in that the machine did not have an operable seatbelt and had a seat with excessive damage as determined on December 18, 2014.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
