29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employees could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: The employer does not ensure that the hazard communication program includes an explanation of container labeling and safety data sheets. This violation occurred on or about January 6, 2015, at the facility where employees were using chemicals such as, but not limited to, Magnaglo magnetic particle premix and Safety-Kleen premium solvent when inspection and cleaning pipes without providing training on the new container labeling and safety data sheet format. Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that the hazard communication program includes an explanation of container labeling and safety data sheets.
