29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.      At the south side of the building; an employee installed ceiling and half walls with a pneumatic Hitachi nail gun, model NR83A2 without eye protection, exposing employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.        At the south side of building; an employee worked from a platform with open, unprotected sides and edges and without the use of a fall protection system, exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 32 feet.
