29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift:  The employer does not protect employees from falling when a body belt with lanyard was not worn by employees working from an aerial lift.  This violation was observed on or about January 16, 2015, in the heat treat area #2  where employees were exposed to fall hazards while operating a Genie aerial lift without a fall protection system.    Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that a body belt is worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.
