Metal-case sockets shall be grounded:  a) On or about January 21, 2015 - at a jobsite located at 3408 S. Prairie Avenue, Chicago, IL. - employees performing carpentry activities in a rehab were exposed to electrical hazards due to the temporary lights having missing cages.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502:  a) On or about January 21, 2015 - at a jobsite located at 3408 S. Prairie Avenue, Chicago, IL. - employees performing carpentry activities on the first and second floor of a rehab were exposed to fall hazards of approximately ten (10) to twenty two (22) feet to the lower levels created by the presence of unprotected sides and edges.

Prairie Avenue, Chicago, IL. - employees performing carpentry activities in a rehab were using stairways that were not equipped with handrails along unprotected sides, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards of approximately ten (10) feet.
