29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: (Construction Reference 1926.103)  (a) Worksite - Lead abatement workers permitted to wear 3M Model 7700 half-face respirators while performing lead abatement operations were not provided with Appendix D information regarding their use, on or about January 29, 2015.  (b) Worksite - Demolition workers permitted to wear N95 Model filtering face piece respirators while performing demolition operations were not provided with Appendix D information regarding their use, on or about January 29, 2015.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1): Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer:  (a) Worksite - Lead abatement workers permitted to wear 3M Model 7700 half-face respirators while performing lead abatement operations were using only water to clean and disinfect their respirators, on or about January 29, 2015.
